My subscription isn't working for my partner

What to do if your partner is still seeing the subscription screen or cannot access premium features, including restoring purchases, checking subscription status, and verifying partner connection.

Cupla only requires one subscription per couple — when one partner subscribes, both partners get access to Cupla Premium. If your subscription is not working, here are a few things to try.

Step 1: Restore purchases

If you are being presented with the paywall but have paid for a subscription, try tapping Restore Purchases.

Step 2: Check you are connected as partners

You must be connected to your partner's account in Cupla to share their subscription. To check:

  1. Tap More.

  2. Look at the top right of the screen.

If you see your partner's name or profile circle, you are connected. If you see Invite your partner, you are not yet linked. See How do I sync with my partner? to connect.

Step 3: Make sure your partner is on the right account

If your partner is signed in to the wrong Cupla account, they will not have access to your subscription. See How do I log in to my original account? for help getting your partner signed in to the correct account.

If none of the above has worked, please message our support team from the Cupla app.
