If you are starting a new relationship and want to use Cupla with a new partner, you will first need to make sure you are no longer connected to a previous partner.
Step 1: Check if you are still connected
To see if you are currently connected to a partner:
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner of the Home screen. If there is no ☰ on your Home screen, tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen instead.
Look at the top right of the screen.
If you see a profile circle with your previous partner's name, you are still connected. If you see Invite your partner, you are not connected and can skip to Step 3.
Step 2: Disconnect from your previous partner
You will need to disconnect before you can connect with someone new. For full instructions, see How do I disconnect from my partner?
When disconnecting, you will be asked how you want to handle your shared data — events, reminders, and to-dos. Please note that the option you choose will permanently delete the selected data and cannot be undone.
Step 3: Connect with your new partner
Once you are disconnected, you are ready to invite your new partner. For full instructions, see How do I sync with my partner?
Your new partner will need to download Cupla and create their own account before they can connect with you.
