Your Cupla data isn't gone — everything is stored against your account, not on your phone. You just need to install Cupla on your new phone and log back in with the same account you used before.
Logging back in
Download Cupla from the App Store or Google Play Store on your new phone.
Open Cupla. If on iOS, tap Already have an account?
Log in using the same method you used before — email, Apple, Google, Facebook, or Passkey.
Allow calendar and notification permissions when prompted so Cupla can sync correctly.
Once logged in, your partner connection, shared events, to-dos, and subscription access should appear automatically. It may take a minute or two for everything to sync.
If you accidentally created a new account
If Cupla looks empty after logging in, you may have ended up in a new account. Log out and log back in with your original details:
On Android, try once. If logging back in still lands you in an empty app, stop there and message our support team rather than working through the other sign-in options: on Android an address we have not seen before can create a new blank account instead of opening your existing one.
Tap the menu icon (☰). Depending on your app version, it will appear either in the top-left corner of the Home screen or in the bottom-right corner of the tab bar.
Tap Me.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Log Out.
Log back in using your original account details.
If your partner's app still shows the two of you as connected while yours does not, see We look connected on my partner's app, but not on mine.
If you're not sure which account to use
If your partner is on an iPhone, ask them to send you a login link from their Cupla app. See My partner got a new phone. How do they set up Cupla? for the steps. The option is iPhone only, and only appears once your account has an email address on it, so if your partner is on Android it will not be there.
If you still can't access your data, message our support team from the Cupla app and we'll help you recover your account.
