The Countdown widget displays a live countdown to a Key Date directly on your phone's home screen, so you can see how long until your next anniversary, trip, or milestone at a glance.

Before you start
To use the Countdown widget, you'll need:
At least one Key Date with the Countdown toggle turned on. See How do I add a countdown to my home screen?
How to add the Countdown widget
Unlock your iPhone and go to the home screen where you want to add the widget.
Press and hold anywhere on the home screen until the apps start to jiggle.
Tap the + icon in the top left corner.
Search for Cupla and swipe to find the Countdown widget.
Choose your preferred size and tap Add Widget.
Drag the widget to your preferred position, then tap Done.
Choose what the widget counts down to
After adding the Countdown widget, you can choose what it counts down to:
Your next upcoming Key Date with a countdown enabled — automatically updates as each Key Date passes.
A specific Key Date of your choice — locks the widget to one date, useful for anniversaries, trips, or milestones you want to keep visible.
To change what the widget shows, long-press the widget on your home screen and select Edit Widget.
