When connecting a calendar via Direct Connect, you may be asked to choose between Personal and Work access. This sets the permission level Cupla can use to read your calendar.
Which should I choose?
Try Personal first. This gives Cupla full access to your event details, so your partner can see event names and other information rather than just Busy.
If Personal does not work, select Work. Some organisations restrict what third-party apps can access, which means Cupla may only be able to see free/busy information. In this case your events will appear as Busy to your partner — this is a restriction set by your organisation and not something Cupla can override.
If Personal did not work and you need full event details, contact your workplace IT team and ask them to approve Cupla as an app with full calendar access.
Events are still showing as Busy
If you selected Personal but events are still showing as Busy, check that Share event details is toggled on for that calendar:
Tap More.
Tap Calendar Settings.
Tap Calendar Connections.
Tap the pencil icon next to the calendar.
Toggle Share event details on.
Tap Save.
