How do I use tags?

Tags let you label and colour-code events, to-dos, and list items in Cupla. Tags are shared between partners. Here's how to create, apply, and filter by tags.

Tags let you label and colour-code things in Cupla — events, to-dos, and list items — so you can group, find, and filter them quickly. For example, you might create a tag for a child, a pet, work, or a particular project.

Tags are shared between you and your partner, so creating a tag once makes it available to both of you across your shared content.

Creating a tag

You can create a new tag while creating or editing any event, to-do, or list item:

  1. Tap + to create a new event, to-do, or list item (or open an existing one to edit).

  2. Scroll to the Tag section and tap on it.

  3. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner.

  4. Add a name to one of the available colours.

  5. Tap Done.

Your new tag is now available across Cupla for both you and your partner to use.

Applying a tag

Once a tag has been created, you can apply it to any event, to-do, or list item:

  1. Open the event, to-do, or list item.

  2. Scroll to the Tag section and tap on it.

  3. Select the tag you'd like to apply.

  4. Save your changes.

The tag colour will appear alongside the item to help you identify it at a glance.

Filtering by tag

You can filter your calendar to show only events with a specific tag:

  1. Open your calendar.

  2. Tap the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right.

  3. Select the tag you'd like to filter by.

All other events will be hidden, leaving just the tagged ones visible.
