Editing an event
Tap the event to open Event Details.
Tap the pencil icon in the top right.
Change what you need, then save.
Deleting an event — iPhone
Tap the event to open Event Details.

Scroll to the bottom of the form and tap Delete Event.
Confirm when asked.

Repeating events
When you delete an event that repeats, Cupla asks which occurrences you mean: just this one, this and all future ones, or the whole series. Choosing this and future ones keeps the occurrences that have already happened.
Events from a calendar you have synced
If the event came from a calendar you connected — Google, Outlook, Apple, or another calendar on your phone — rather than being created in Cupla, the edit and delete options will not appear. Edit or delete the event in the app that owns that calendar, and Cupla will pick up the change at the next sync.
If you cannot edit or delete the event there either, the calendar itself may not allow it. Birthday calendars built from your phone's contacts, public holiday calendars, and calendars someone else has shared with you read-only all work this way: their entries can be hidden, but never deleted, in any calendar app. The only way to take those events out of Cupla is to disconnect the whole calendar. Tap the menu icon (☰), tap Calendar Settings, then Calendar Connections, untick that calendar under Device Calendars — calendars there are grouped under the account they came from — then tap Save rather than the back arrow. Every event that calendar brought in leaves Cupla when you do, for both of you.
If that calendar is no longer on your phone — after replacing your phone, for example — you cannot reach those events from either side: your calendar app cannot see them, and Cupla will not show the pencil icon. Remove the whole calendar instead. Tap the menu icon (☰), tap Calendar Settings, then Calendar Connections, scroll to the bottom to Other Calendars, untick the ones listed there and tap Save. If Event Details says the event belongs to one of your partner's synced calendars, there is no way to remove it from your own side: Calendar Connections only ever shows you your own calendars. Your partner needs to untick that calendar in Calendar Connections on their phone. This includes calendars their iPhone creates by itself, such as Events from Mail, which makes events out of confirmation emails.
Shared events
A shared event is a single event that you both see, so deleting it removes it for both of you. There is no way to remove it from just your own side.
