How do I edit or delete an event?

How to change or remove a calendar event in Cupla, including repeating events, shared events, and events that came from a calendar you've synced.

This article covers regular calendar events. For Key Dates, see How do I delete a Key Date?

Editing an event

  1. Tap the event to open Event Details.

  2. Tap the pencil icon in the top right.

  3. Change what you need, then save.

Repeating events

When you delete an event that repeats, Cupla asks which occurrences you mean: just this one, this and all future ones, or the whole series. Choosing this and future ones keeps the occurrences that have already happened.

Events from a calendar you have synced

If the event came from a calendar you connected — Google, Outlook, Apple, or another calendar on your phone — rather than being created in Cupla, the edit and delete options will not appear. Edit or delete the event in the app that owns that calendar, and Cupla will pick up the change at the next sync.

Shared events

A shared event is a single event that you both see, so deleting it removes it for both of you. There is no way to remove it from just your own side.
