Using the grocery list

Cupla's grocery list is a shared, real-time shopping list. Items are grouped by aisle automatically so whoever's at the store can shop without backtracking.

Cupla's grocery list is shared between you and your partner in real time — add an item from home and it appears on your partner's phone at the store instantly. Items are automatically grouped by supermarket aisle so you can work through the list without doubling back.

Opening the grocery list

  1. Open Cupla and tap To-dos in the menu at the bottom.

  2. Tap the four squares in the top left-hand corner.

  3. Tap on the Groceries list.

Adding items

  1. Tap the + button.

  2. Search for the item. Cupla has a built-in database of common groceries — tap Add next to any item to add it to your list.

  3. If the item isn't in the list, type a custom name, select a category if you'd like, then tap the Add button.

Adding items by voice (iPhone)

You can dictate items instead of typing them.

  1. Open the Cupla Assistant — the pink button at the right of the bottom bar.

  2. Tap the message box, then tap the microphone key on your keyboard.

  3. Say what you want added — for example, "add milk, eggs and bread to the grocery list".

The Assistant adds the items to your shared grocery list. The microphone is your keyboard's own dictation feature, so it works anywhere you type in Cupla.

Shopping with the list

Items are grouped by aisle automatically. As you pick up each item, tap it to check it off. Checked items move to the bottom of the list so you can focus on what's left.
