Your Date Frequency Goal is the target you set for how often you and your partner want to go on dates. Cupla tracks your progress against the goal and gently nudges you if it's been a while since your last date.
Open the Date Planner
There are two ways to open the Date Planner:
From your home screen: Scroll to Upcoming Dates and tap Date Planner.
From the More tab: Tap More > Date Planner.
From the Date Planner, tap the settings icon in the top right to manage your goal.
Set your Date Frequency Goal
Cupla supports two types of goal:
A custom number per time period: For example, two dates per month, or one date per week.
A set day per week, month, or year: For example, every Friday, or the first Saturday of every month.
To set your goal:
Open the Date Planner and tap settings in the top right.
Choose your preferred goal type.
Set the frequency or day.
Save your changes.
Your Date Frequency Goal is shared between you and your partner, so you're both working towards the same target.
Update your goal
You can change your goal at any time — for example, if life gets busier or you'd like to be more intentional about quality time:
Open the Date Planner and tap settings in the top right.
Adjust the goal type, frequency, or day.
Save your changes.
Remove your goal
If you'd prefer to use Cupla without a Date Frequency Goal, you can turn it off:
Open the Date Planner and tap settings in the top right.
Remove or disable the goal.
Save your changes.
Cupla will still let you tag dates and plan them — you just won't be tracking against a target.
